Meet Brittany
Brittany has always had a love for working with dogs, and began her career with animals at a doggie daycare while still in high school. Just after graduating from high school, she became a vet tech while opening her very own successful dog sitting business.
Soon after Brittany found her passion in dog training as she worked alongside the local county jail to train K9's for the department. Over the last 9 years she has learned from, and worked with, well known dog trainers from Colorado to Texas. In early 2022, she earned her Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed Certification (CPDT-KA) then her Fear Free Certified Professional (FFCP).
Brittany was inspired by her opportunity to work with some of the best dog training professionals in both the Denver and Houston areas, and her goal is to take that knowledge and experience she has gained to help those closer to her home in Pearland.

Heather has been managing small businesses for over ten years now, and absolutely loves nerding out over website design, SEO, social media creation and digital marketing. So when her sister asked her to join Cultivated Canine as the Director of Details she couldn't say no, and she has loved every minute with your pups!
In her "spare time" she consults with other small businesses, working with them and their teams to grow and nurture their own businesses. ​When she's not consulting with a small businesses or managing Cultivated Canine, she's watching movies with her family or relaxing with a book.​​

Meet Penny
Penny is a dedicated K9 tracking dog with a passion for helping families reunite with their missing pets and loved ones. She is proudly KSTAR Certified, a designation that recognizes her advanced training and proven ability to track and locate lost loved ones with precision and reliability.
​
Specializing in both person and pet recovery, Penny uses her exceptional scent-detection skills to follow trails that are often invisible to humans. Her focus, stamina, and calm working style make her an invaluable partner in searches, whether tracking through neighborhoods, wooded areas, or open fields.
​
Beyond her professional work, Penny is known for her gentle temperament and loyalty, qualities that shine through both on and off duty. While she enjoys playtime and relaxation at home, Penny is always ready to put on her tracking gear and get to work, driven by the mission of bringing beloved pets back to the families who love them.
Meet Zola
Rehomed to our family, Zola quickly demonstrated exceptional drive and natural ability for Tracking. We began practice Tracks where she showed a strong work ethic, sharp focus, and an impressive nose for the job, and it became clear to us that Tracking was her calling. Within just months of moving in with us, Zola earned her KSTAR Certification as well, a testament to her intelligence, adaptability, and dedication.

Off the clock, Zola’s professional intensity gives way to her softer—and sillier—side. At home, she can be goofy and a classic hound, full of personality, expressive ears, and an endearing sense of humor. She is affectionate and people-oriented, happily trading her harness for belly rubs, lounging, and quality time with her family. Zola enjoys relaxing, gentle play, and staying close to her humans—proof that while she takes her job seriously, she knows exactly how to enjoy her downtime.​​
Meet Remi Jean
Remi Jean is currently in training to specialize in both person and pet recovery, and will hopefully be KSTAR Certified this Spring. With a keen nose and focused drive, she is training to follow individual scent trails over varied terrain and conditions. Loyal, hardworking and compassionate, Remi Jean helps bring peace of mind to worried families.

Focused and reliable while working, Remi Jean balances her serious search skills with a playful side—when she’s off duty, she loves playing fetch in the backyard and goofing around with her both her two-legged and four-legged friends.

Meet Temperance
Temperance, or Tempe as we like to call her, is the latest K9 added to our pack. She is currently training in human remains detection, so of course named after Dr. Temperance Brennan from the television series Bones. Like her namesake, Tempe pairs curiosity with precision, approaching every task with focus, intelligence, and an impressive nose for detail.
Currently honing her skills in scent discrimination and search techniques, Tempe is learning to locate and indicate human remains in a variety of environments. She thrives on problem-solving, loves a challenge, and brings steady enthusiasm to each training session. Whether working methodically through an area or celebrating a job well done, Tempe shows the calm confidence and determination essential for this vital line of work.
Off duty, Tempe is affectionate, playful, and endlessly eager to learn—proof that a great working dog can balance heart and hustle. As her training continues, Temperance is on track to become a reliable, professional partner dedicated to bringing answers, closure, and service where it matters most.
